Mezmerizing!

Whoa! Fall is already here! I absolutely love the Fall. With the leaves changing colors and the briskness in the air. :) It is totally mezmerizing! I hope to soon go on a fourwheeler ride/date up the mountains to have a picnic and see all the beautiful changes!

Expected Halloween Costume

This Halloween, I am pretty sure what I want to be. I am kinda...sorta...into the Twilight series. So I decided to be Edward for Halloween. I dyed my hair and I am ordering my gold topaz contacts. I have even grown out my sideburns. haha My friends say I have too dark of skin so I am gonna have to buy some light make-up or just pour baby powder on me. haha! I will have so much fun! :) I am super excited! But I need a Bella? ;)

Is it possible to live without a phone? I lived about 4 weeks without a phone! My dad took it away until I got my Eagle Project finished. He also took my car away but somehow...I got that back the next day :) My friends felt deprived but when I got my phone back, I had 63 texts! haha It was funny to read through them and not knowing what half of them meant. But I am now glad to have my phone back! It was a different learning experience however I wouldn't do it again...I think ;)

Eagle Project

I'm finally finished! Finito! Complete! My Eagle Project is done! As you may know, this Eagle Project deal has been a real controversy between my parents and me. Its a very long long story...but as always, I agree with my parents and started my Eagle Project.

This passed Saturday, I got all my scout troop and family together and we went out to paint. For my project, we painted the fire hydrants in my ward and weeded around them. It all worked out just DaNdY! It took about 3 hours to finish my whole project. How easy was that! Now I just have to do the paperwork until i recieve my actual award.

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day Weekend is probably one of my most favorite weekends ever! It's kinda become a tradition for my family to get together and go camping for the weekend. This year, my grandparents, my family, and the Westbrooks came up. Even my brother Talin and his nice girlfriend Shanna came for the weekend. We ended staying at Twin Ponds up Gooseberry. We all took our four-wheelers too, so we could ride up the mountain. The entire weekend was fun! We went fishing, a lot!! And we went on plenty of four-wheeler rides. My favorite part was when my mom, Niki, me, and my three younger siblings went on a hike up past Farnsworth by a smaller pond. We walked around to the other side of the pond and we noticed a stream coming down from the mountain. Needing adventure, we all started hiking up along side the stream, trying to find where it came from. We hiked about a mile up to the tip top of the mountain. We had so much fun! Another great time is when we went muddin! All I can say is "hang on to the willows"! Here are some pics of our trip>>>

Homecoming Heck is Over!

ha ha! Homecoming week is finally over! It is the most busy week out of the whole year! Dont get me wrong though...I love homecoming.(: There is so much spirit and fun that goes on in our school! Very ~RoCkIn~! Our junior class didn't do so well in the activities this year though. Actually, we did pretty good we just didn't win alot like last year. Last year, we won almost everything! So our football team played South Sevier on friday and our volleyball team played S.S. also on Thursday! They both rocked...even though they didnt' win. I was still proud of them all. During the week, each day had a different dress-up day and Kinzie and I won overall! Down below is a picture of me on "rOcKeR" day :) Best day ever! I took T to the dance and on our date, we went paintballing. It was very super fun! When I get the dance pictures back, I'll have to post them!

Taylor in Pictures

Sorry it took me so long to post this, Kels! :)

I found two pictures of 2 famous 'Taylors'. This first one is a pic of Taylor Swift. The next one I found is Taylor Lautner, a new star of the Twilight movie. He plays the role of Jacob Black.

I was born at the Jordan Valley Hospital on October 17, 1991.

My favorite Colors are Green and Red.

My favorite place is Cape Hattery, Washington--pretty much anywhere in Washington though.

The place I want to visit most is Paris, France. I will visit there before I die!

My worse habit is probably popping my neck...my neck used to hurt if I didn't pop it but now I just do it because of habit.

My most favorite animal is a white siberian tiger.

My Past Love would probably be dancing. I used to do it all the time! but now I just do it for fun.

My very first job was not JJWD. I used to actually deliver newspapers all over Salina! Not very fun but I mad lots of money :)

Another place I'd like to visit is Italy!

Currently, I'm a Student at North Sevier High School!

New Movie

"Good Morning Pooter!" haha This movie looks absolutely hillarious! My friends and me want to see it so so bad! Anna Ferris is one of my favorite actresses because she is so random and funny! The House Bunny comes out this Friday but we'll have to wait til Saturday, or after our first football game to see it.

Summer's End

Wow! This summer has flown by so fast, I dont know where it went! It's crazy because this summer was a normal summer...I wanted it to be awesome and full of alot of excitement...There have been some good times-some very good times...but I think I would want to redo it. LIVE it up a bit, if ya what I mean?!--This is a picture of the Moon above Redmond Lake the other night. A Summer's End.

Olympics Beijing

The 2008 Summer Olympics are going on now in Beijing, if you didn't already know and I love to watch the swimming! Michael Phelps[above] is that greatest swimmer ever and he is representing the USA! He has done so great this year! With a total of 13 Olympic medals, 10 of which are gold, he is the first person to ever do that! I hope he keeps it up! Go USA!

LOOK! I was driving nowhere on my way home from filling up with gas and I drove passed this blotch of sunflowers! I put my car in park to take a picture! I love this time of year! Everything is so beautiful and full! The big things in life make nothing!

Saturday, August 9, 2008

Last night, I was bored...[not helping that we live in salina and there's nothing to do] so I went and decided to make my own fun. I went up to El Mexi and ate dessert with Megan and Kelby. Afterwards, we felt kinda stealthy so we decided to play a prank on my friend Kelsie. Her car had been Surran Wrapped like 3 times and she blamed them all on me! Which it wasn't. haha So we decided that I should really get her car! We had 3 rolls of Surran Wrap, a package of Double Stuff Oreos, and we headed over to Aurora.

It only took about 30 minutes to make a mess of the scene and it was so much fun! Next Time I feel like destroying Kelsie's car, I'll make a much much MUCH bigger mess! Cuz Bigger is always Better...well sometimes :) Here's some other pictures!

Tonight, I was digging through my photo albums [right, like its really an album-more like in big storage boxes]and found some way old photos of when I did clog dancing. Those were some fun times! Here are some pictures of all the years and there are even more, I just haven't dug them up yet.

Water Fun

Yesterday, my family went to Seven Peaks Waterpark in Provo. This is the 2nd time I'd gone there but the first time was about 8 years ago. I love water, swimming and the thrill of going down the waterslides. I first grabbed our double tube and my little sis Cassie and we headed to the slide tower. We went down every tube slide and I forgot how much fun it is. After, I went and ate and then headed off to the body slides. My little bro's friend Jake came with me and we went down all three body slides-even the orange one, FreeFall. Its pretty much a straight drop and it was such a thrill! After that, I went down that slide probably 5 times! I was a little sore so I headed to the Lazy River to cool things down a bit. My brother's friends started playing tag and so I joined in. It was so much fun but very tiring! Throughout the day, I went to the wave pool, the Boomerang, the Vortex, and all the other slides atleast once. It was such a fun day! I hope to do it again! Oh! and next summer, I'm thinking on becoming a lifeguard there! Wouldn't that be awesome!

Pre-Junior Year

Junior Year...Wow! I've made it this far and it seems like only yesterday that I just graduated elementary. Its crazy how time passes so fast. Well, school starts August 19th and I'm very excited! I mean, I still will miss the summer and so I better make the best of whats left. My courses this year are pretty difficult and I only have 1 elective! I'm actually almost done with all of my required classes and so my senior year can be all electives. I'm taking Architecture this year and I'm pretty serious about it-I'm considering it for a career. And...if schools not enough, I'm also Junior Class Vice-President. That'll be a tough duty this year especially when we are in charge of prom. Oh! I'm stoked about prom this year! It'll be great! Awesome! and Super Sick! haha I'm hoping. We have such a great class this year and I think that we'll get alot of support. O! and just one more thing to add to my agenda, I have the school play in the fall, which i'm student directing, and the middle school play in the spring that I am student directing. Busy. Busy. Busy. And I'm planning on doing the following sports this year: X country, Basketball, Soccer, and Track. And I'm gonna try to include Ballroom Dancing into there somewhere...Oh and I'm trying out for One Voice when school starts. I hope I make it. Well...there's my plan haha We'll see what happens when school starts.

My Trekking Experience

Wow! The trek was such a great experience. There was a good turnout this year. When we first arrived to our unloading destination, we were set aside into families. I wasn't really put in with anybody I got along with but we grew on each other and we ended up being a true family.
The First day, we walked about 4 miles. It was a little difficult just because we were learning and getting used to the handcarts. We would walk, then stop, then walk, then stop. Many of us needed breaks! haha We stopped to eat lunch and we were taught some fun games. I was glad to have my friends there; Kelsie, Kinzie, Chevia, Kurtis and I pretty much hung out the entire trip. We started off again and finally arrived to our camp for the night. Each family set up their area with their tarp tents and bedding. After, we cooked dinner, ate, and I was off again to play with my friends. All of us headed down to the "crick" not "creek". haha Kinzie and I ended up getting wet! and we had to say the prayers that night. We played games, danced, and listened to music. It started getting cold and late so we headed to bed. I was tired and sore, but in the end, the first day was great!
The Second day was a bit more difficult. haha we walked somewhere around 7 and a half miles and most of it was up hill! It began to rain that day and nothin fun really happened until we reached our next camp for the night.
When we reached camp, the same schedule happened: set up camp, cook, eat, play. The first night, each family was assigned to make up a song for the "battle of the bands" held on the second night. I immediately started writing our song to the tune Beat It: by Michael Jackson. A classic! I know. haha It sounded good until we came to preform. I messed up terribly and it came out all wrong, but thats okay cuz we had fun! That night, we danced....ALOT! I had a great time dancing cowboy style! haha Afterwards, we had Testimony Meeting. I'm glad to have Kelsie cuz she talked me into bearing my testimony and I'm really glad I bore it. I kinda waited til the last and then I spoke. I had no idea it'd be such a spiritual experience for me. I ended up getting emotional and crying a bit, but I'm glad I did it. The night was coming to a close so we each headed to bed. I wasn't all that tired and so I sang. haha O it was fun! One lady in my family told me songs to sing and I'd do my best-she sayed I was pretty good :)
The Last and Final Day: Mostly everyone was excited to get back home to a comfy bed and warm shower and thats all I heard all day! Including coming from me! We woke up early this morning and headed off to a morning devotional. It was such a spiritual time. The sun was just coming up and we were surrounded by nature. Silence!
We picked up camp and breakfast and we were off again onto our last day of trekking! Most of the last day was downhill and very easy to pull the cart. I ended up picking a whole bunch of flowers along the way! We stopped for a snack and a rest. The youth leaders prepared a game for the rest of us: Flour Wars! Little nylon sacks were filled with flour and we threw them at each other! It was great fun but very messy! I didn't care because less then 3 hours from then, I'd be home and showered. :)

The day got hotter and we pulled faster and faster-trying to reach our destination. Finally, we saw ahead the pick-up trucks and we made a dramatic entrance to the finish! We ate, drank, and became merry! haha Mostly because we were going home though!
This experience was such a great one because we learned and grew and our testimonies were strengthened-or atleast mine was! I'd never give up those hard moments for anything because I gained so much from them!

Traveling

I love to travel! Seeing new sights is one of my favorite things to do. I'm lucky to live in a family that takes alot of trips too! I've been pretty much everywhere West of the Rockies and I loved every minute of it! And I can't wait til the Church History Trip-the end of my Senior Year because it'll take me all over the Eastern United States. But my travels dont end there! My dream vacation is to go to Europe and not necessarily "backpack" through it but visit Each and Every country. :)

This passed Spring, I recieved a letter from Music Ambassadors International. I guess my Band teacher Mrs. Poulson put me and a couple others from our band in an International Band group. I was super excited to find out that I would be given the opportunity to play music, which I love, and also get to travel to Europe!! The packet that each of us recieved told detailed information about our upcoming 2009 Summer trip to Europe. This 16 day! Trip would cover 7 countries from Europe-including: Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein!! Crazy huh! and sounds Super fun! A DREAM Vacation for someone like me!
But sadly, I do not get to go on this trip...The cost on it is a little close to $6,000! and that does not include spending money. I raised as much as I could until I found it was out of reach for this time but hopefully I will get the same opportunity to go next time. I guess I'll just have to get on my teacher's good side again :)

Change in Plan

Coming into my Junior year of high school, I changed my direction. Instead of going out for the football team, which I would have made as a reciever, I started getting in shape for...X Country. Running a 5K or 3.1 miles is such a workout! Plus, I haven't ran all that much during the summer months-not since the end of April! I've gotta start pushing it if I wanna be in shape for X Country camp on the first week of August. I know I have the determination and heart to push myself to the limit and when the time comes, I will win! This will be my first year and I will win a race...hopefully :) I'll keep you updated!
